Aisha Qadoos

Hey, all! I'm Aisha [pronounced ash-ear / æʃ-ɪə]. I've just completed my PhD at the University of Birmingham on the experience of trauma (pass with minor corrections), under the supervision of Professor Lisa Bortolotti and Dr Chiara Brozzo.

 

I completed my PhD by papers comprising of 6 interrelated papers on the subjective, lived experience of trauma. Some of the papers included in the thesis include papers on ambiguous loss, gender based violence and affective injustice, digitally mediated trauma with reference to Palestine, and the costs and duties of bearing witness.
